Who is Tom Challan?

Tom Challan is a home business trainer affiliated with Dani Johnson. Part time, Tom Challan as surpassed almost all of the MLM gurus – sponsoring 500 people in one year (from cold leads, mind you). What does he teach?

More and more people are being made redundant and unemployment rates are increasing on a daily basis. It can be a very difficult period in one’s life when the lose their job but people need to try and think in a positive manner. This is far from easy however however becoming down and depressed will not help the situation.

I was made redundant from a financial services corporation when I was aged twenty-two. Due to my age I was not in reality too bothered about the whole situation. I decided to think positively about the situation; in reality I did not even like the job that I was in, I found it rather boring. I had always wanted to be my own boss and this would be the perfect time to turn my dream into a reality. Being made redundant turned out to be a blessing in disguise; I would probably have left the company within a few months in any case but this way they were actually paying me a redundancy package to leave!

I decided to use this windfall to start my own home based business. I was going to run one-to-one stuttering therapy courses to help people to achieve fluency. I am a person who has managed to successfully overcome a stutter and I therefore felt that I had something to offer.

Working from home has many benefits as I have found to my own benefit. These include being your own boss and therefore not having to answer to other people. Choosing your own hours, choosing the amount of hours you work and the amount of holidays that you have. The rigid structure of set hours or working shifts no longer have to be an issue. This travel time is basically time wasted. I am a person who prefers to work late at night and at times early in the morning when the world is seemingly at its quitest.

Working from home now allows me to go to all of the important events in my children’s lives. For example attending their school sports days, the christmas play, parents evenings, the visits to the dentists. A full time employee normally has to miss a number of these events which is most frustrating and also unacceptable.

I now have partnerships in other business ventures including one offering a DVD replication service and one offering web promotion advice.

I would recommend other people to set up their own small business and to work from home, you need to be self-disciplined but the benefits are huge.

A lot of my downline have wanted to know how I was able to change my business so quickly. I was able to go from complete financial disaster to success in a mere six month period. So in this article I will share with you my “secret” – the power of just one little word.  Now PPL Blastoff was not the business I was promoting at the time, but this principal applies to any business.

There is nothing super special about the word – in fact, you will probably be disappointed – but truly understanding it will make all the difference in the world. The power lies not in the word itself, but in the process of truly internalizing and knowing the definition of the word and realizing just how truly fundamental it is.

Many of you will dismiss what I am saying – that’s fine, just move on because this isn’t for you – but for those that do listen, your life may be transformed. It starts with humility.  To read what I am saying and internalize it, to understand how I went from nothing to six figures in six months, well, you have to be humble enough to “listen”. I suggest you print this. Re-read it many times over and allow it to “sink in” so that you can transform your mindset in a blink of an eye.  Whether you are promoting Blastoff PPL or any other product (MLM or not), you have to grasp this concept.

We have been taught from an early age that things have to happen slowly, that slower is better (ever heard the story of the Tortoise and the Hare?), but I’m here to tell you that the exact opposite is true. You truly can transform yourself in a very short time period if you are willing to question some of your long held beliefs, discard some of the limiting ones, and embrace your own commitment to success.

The most important changes that we can make do not come from outside influences, they come from within. Those changes involve redefining your fundamental belief systems and those changes can transform you in an instant, removing decades of self-imposed limitations. When it happens for you it will be as if you have been seeing in black and white all of your life and someone instantaneously shows you how to see in color for the first time. Suddenly limitations and fears just begin to melt away.

So, what’s my “secret” word? DECIDE. Sounds so simple, doesn’t it? But there is something that you must understand. The word decide, when you look at its latin roots, means “to cut off from all other possibilities” – now that is pretty powerful.  Now, I want you to stop and go back and re-read that about 10 times. Think of the power that comes from a true understanding of that one little word. Imagine how your life could be different if you truly embraced the definition of the word “decide” from this day forward. If you didn’t stop right now and go back and reread and ponder this a bit, then you will likely just dismiss this article and get nothing out of it.

“To cut off from all other possibilities”. Can you imange what might happen if you simply decided to treat your home business like a real business rather than just your hobby?  How would that make a difference for you? What if you decided that now was your time to change? What if you decided that you were no longer going to allow fear, complacency and procrastination to dominate your life? What if today was the first day you decided to truly live life, not just go through the motions?  PPL Blastoff doesn’t have to be your decision, maybe it is another program you wish to promote, but one way or another you must “decide” to move forward with massive action and resolve.

You see that magical day came for me because I finally decided that I deserved better out of life and I decided to take action. I hope that you too will find the incredible power of this simple little misunderstood word, decide.
